An opportunity for businesses to learn about the benefits of switching to Electric Vehicles

Many businesses are now actively considering investing in the next generation of Ultra-Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs) such as electric cars and vans. This transition is occurring due to air quality concerns, while electric cars are now cheaper to own, run and hold on to more of their value than petrol or diesel cars (What Car?). A further incentive is that the Government has announced that from April 2020 company car drivers choosing a pure electric vehicle will be taxed at 0%, paying no benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax at all.

This event is aimed at Finance Managers and business decision makers wanting to be better informed about the business case for using electric vehicles as part of their fleet.

At this free breakfast workshop expert presentations will cover:

  • Overview of Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs) – range, charging infrastructure.
  • The total cost of EV ownership business models
  • Tax incentives and financial support available
  • Individual business surgeries with independent experts
  • A chance to test drive a number of Electric Vehicles currently on the market

There will also be an opportunity for businesses to test drive the latest Electric Vehicles and register for a free loan of an EV for up to a month.

This event is free to attend and breakfast refreshments will be provided. Priority will be given to businesses and organisations based in the Nottingham area. Register at this link or contact
