The Workplace Travel Service: ULEV Experience is a programme dedicated to supporting businesses to understand, trial and implement low emission vehicle technology.
The programme is funded by Nottingham City Council’s Go Ultra Low City project and is part of the Workplace Travel Service which offers grants of up to £25,000 to support sustainable travel. It is delivered by a consortium led by Cenex, with partners from Automotive Comms, CleanTech Business, DriveElectric, Energy Saving Trust and The Big Wheel.
Cenex is an independent research and consultancy organisation specialising in helping clients to reduce their transport emissions through our three teams – Transport, Energy Systems and Innovation. The Transport Team helps clients to assess, implement and validate ultra-low emission technologies using real-world data analysis from their fleet. The Energy Systems Team supports the deployment of supporting infrastructure, including smart technology such as Vehicle to Grid. The Innovation Team specialises in designing and implementing innovative low emission strategies across the public and private sector to accelerate the shift to low emission transport.
Automotive Comms delivers marketing and communication support in the automotive industry, and is one of the UK’s leading specialists in low carbon vehicle communication, having worked at the forefront of this sector for over ten years. As well as developing strategy and directing communication, Automotive Comms also provides services such as writing, design, photography and video. This translates into delivering projects such as branding, websites, e-marketing, multimedia, brochures, exhibitions, case studies, presentations and PR. Automotive Comms also runs the UK’s original green car website, www.GreenCarGuide.co.uk.
CleanTech Business Ltd is a Nottingham-based organisation which provides a range of project management services and consultancy on low carbon energy and transportation projects. CleanTech operates LEVEL (Low Emission Vehicle Enterprise and Learning), a virtual training organisation delivering skill conferences, training workshops and e-learning course on all aspects of low emission vehicle transport technologies.
